Name: Ted Knust |
Home: Melcher-Dallas, Iowa |
Club involvement: I am actively involved in the Army ROTC. Since I contracted as a cadet, I have been trying to balance 17-20 credits per semester with my involvement in the Army ROTC. |
| Why did you choose agricultural studies? I chose Agricultural Studies because it was the most versatile agricultural program. You can pursue a career in the industry or go home and farm, and be well prepared for either. |
| What surprised you the most about Iowa State? What surprised me most was the number of international students and faculty. The campus is more diverse than I ever thought it would be. |
| What advice do you have for incoming students? Get involved in something. Don’t experience college in a vacuum. There are plenty of other people who share your interests. |
