We know many of you may have concerns as you approach this big change in your life but remember you are going to figure out what you are really made of. In college, you will have the opportunity to learn more about yourself, such as what you can and cannot handle, which will ultimately help you discover a better path to take in life. Before coming to college, be prepared that life is going to be very different yet extremely fun and exciting. It is important that you understand that it’s all up to you on how well your first year goes. All of our freshman years were a great success because there was no fear to go on new endeavors and embark on various opportunities.

We hope you are enjoying your summer break because before you know it, you will be in class as a freshman! These next few months are going to fly by so have fun while you can. Take in all of your experiences and make sure to end the summer on a high note. Please feel free to ask us any questions about college or any concerns that you have before you get to Ames.
