We  encourage you to reach out to your assigned academic advisor, who can be identified by going to the academics section of WorkDay, scrolling to "Important Contacts Support Network" and finding their advisor listed as "Primary Undergraduate Academic Advisor".

AGEDS Advising Mission and Vision Statement

Mission for AGEDS Academic Advising:

Academic advising in the Department of Agricultural Education and Studies is an integral component of the teaching and learning process. It fosters student success, retention, and graduation by providing personalized guidance that helps students define, plan, and achieve their academic, personal, and career goals. Advisors empower students to take responsibility for their education, navigate institutional requirements, and connect with resources.

Vision of AGEDS Academic Advising:

To help students achieve their potential.

This mission and vision statement were approved by the AGEDS faculty and staff in April 2026.
