Agricultural Studies
Agricultural Studies offers two options, Multidisciplinary and Production & Management. The Multidisciplinary option requires students to select three emphasis areas (at least two from the college of agriculture and life sciences), providing a well-rounded and customizable experience to students. The Production & Management option covers the broad spectrum of agriculture and life sciences with the flexibility for you to customize the major to pursue your career goals.

Agricultural and Life Sciences Education
Agricultural and Life Sciences Education combines food, agriculture, and life sciences with social sciences and communications. Graduates enter a variety of agricultural careers that include working with people in agriculture, such as education, extension, agribusiness and public agencies.

Agricultural Communication
The agricultural communication program provides students with critical knowledge and skills to be effective agricultural communicators. Graduates will communicate about agricultural science with diverse audiences within and outside the agricultural sector locally, nationally, and globally, using various communication channels and tools.
Master of Science in Agricultural Education

Non-Thesis Option
Available as a traditional on-campus program, but may also be completed by distance education with no on-campus courses or meetings.

Thesis Option
Candidates will work towards improving their professional proficiency and status while developing knowledge and skill related to research.

Teacher Certification Option
Students have the opportunity to earn a Master of Science degree and acquire a teaching certificate; this program must be completed on-campus.
Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Education
The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree is research-oriented.The program of study is designed to foster independent and creative thinking about agricultural education by the candidate. Emphasis is placed on selecting courses and educational experiences that enhance the breadth and depth of the candidate’s knowledge related to their major and minor fields study.
